Your task: Plan a cross-curricular mini-project. Your mini-project should incorporate some of the techniques you have seen on the course so far. Complete the table below.

Topic and project title
Jobs.
How do they do it?
Your subject area: How will the project fit with your subject?
Jobs (Social Science), body skills (PE)
We are studying the different jobs in Social Science, so we choose one of them, in these case Arable farming and Food Factory. We are learning the vocabulary in a real context, using simple sentences in English.
According to PE contents, we are adapting different movements, using our body to develop different skills, join them with the Social Science contents.
Who are you doing the project with?
3 teachers are involved. First of all the English and Social Science teacher, then the Physical Education teacher and finally the Arts teacher (in Spanish).
Learning objectives
To use the vocabulary related to jobs in a real context.
To improve the body skills using game as the main method.
Anticipated problems (and solutions)
Differences in the timetable between teachers. As a solution, we need to meet each other in our outside of class hours.

Teach your mini-project. Reflect on how it went. Be prepared to give feedback.

Group and date taught

3 rd grade of Primary Education.
From the 12th of February to the 23rd. (two weeks)
What did you do?

(scan and attach a copy of the material you used, or paste any links below)
*Driver question: How do an orange juice reach the supermarket? Brain-storming with unit contents.
*We prepare the sentences for the audio.
*We record the audio.
*Brain-storming. How can we perform the different activities?
*Training the physical circuits.
*Recording the video.
What went well

Everthing is going well. THe students are very motivated, the contents are being learnt more easily, as they practise them in different subjects.

Reflection for future practice
What needed improvement/changes and why

Previous meetings are needed to develop CLIL during all the school year, because we have seen that this methodology is very good for the students developing in a second language.

What would you change considering level,  age or other factors

We can simplify the use of the language, the movements and we we can also change the topic according to the curriculum.
Our opinion is that different topics can be adapted to different levels. As we mentioned before, with previous organisation and the willingness of the teachers involved this methodology can be used with all ages and levels.
